Preschool

Preschool provide unique activities at no extra cost from outside agencies. Our preschool children have opportunities to experience activities from teachers in specialised areas including practicing skills such as the balance bikes, gymnastics and multi sports
Messy Play
Preschool provides many tactile experiences though diverse messy play activities using natural resources. Staff support children’s interest providing a range of activities and experiences which encourage and enhance exploration promoting children’s language, creativity, and social skills.
Staff support children’s imaginative skills allowing them to express their thoughts and feelings whilst exploring the world in which they live.
Children are exploring different occupations, lifestyles and cultures through a range of activities. Children love to dress up our role play area is always busy
We welcome visitors from the wider community such as from the fire and police service. Nurses -farmers-cooks and more. Our parents also are encouraged to share their hobbies and skills with the children
Forest School
Our forest school reconnects children with nature, offering many learning opportunities across all areas of the EYFS. This is a specialised learning approach, allowing learners freedom to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands on learning activities
As well as free play our preschool children will engage in a variety of adult led activities where they will be developing and enhancing social skills and concepts whilst developing their language
Out of School Clubs
Play is important to a child’s development; it helps to nurture children’s imagination and self-expression. At Afterschool club children choose their own activities supported by experienced childcare staff
Our after-school club offers children a way to connect with their peers in a different setting. Staff promote children’s independence, cooperation, support and respect, giving our children a sense of belonging
